Natalie Hillier serves as the Manager of the Mullewa Community Resource Centre, bringing a wealth of expertise across the community sector, event management, and hospitality. Since relocating to the area with her young family in April 2024, she has focused her professional energy on fostering growth and long-term vitality within our small community.
With an extensive background in service-driven industries, Natalie is dedicated to creating a vibrant, inclusive environment at the CRC.
Trainee
Bella Low is a vibrant personality currently completing her Certificate III in Events. Driven by a deep love for her community, Bella is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections and contributing to local initiatives.
She is looking forward to spending the year in Mullewa, where she is focused on expanding her professional skill set and actively interacting with the community.
Administration Officer
Anna Buncsik serves as the Resource Centre Administration Officer, bringing a calm and positive presence that enhances the environment for both staff and visitors. With a genuine passion for problem-solving, Anna loves assisting with technical issues, navigating the complexities of filling out forms, and managing online ordering to keep operations running smoothly.
Our management committee consists of eight enthusiastic, active, and hardworking members dedicated to fostering positive change in our community. Each member brings a diverse range of skills and experiences, enhancing our decision-making and strategic direction.
Chairperson
Helen is a local business owner and artist who has served as Chairperson of the CRC for the past year. A resident of Mullewa for eight years, she is deeply passionate about her community and devoted to promoting its stunning natural landscape.
Vice Chairperson
Jemma has been a dedicated member of the CRC Committee since 2021. Originally from Mullewa, she now raises her children on their farm in Wongoondy. Jemma values community involvement and enjoys contributing to local events.
Treasurer
Justine joined the committee as Treasurer in November 2023. A passionate photographer, she is committed to advocating for the local community and its vibrant culture
Secretary
Alyce Tropiano joined the Mullewa CRC committee as Secretary after the 2024 AGM. Passionate about her community, she also volunteers with the Mullewa Community Trust and is actively involved in a variety of local initiatives.

Teresa has been a avid member of the Mullewa community for over 11 years and has served on the CRC committee since 2018. With a passion for arts and crafts, she brings creativity and enthusiasm to her work.

Kathryn has served on the CRC committee since 1996, passionately advocating for the community. She is particularly dedicated to promoting the wildflower show and ensuring the continued success of the CRC

Bec has been a member of the CRC committee for three years, previously serving as Chairperson. She and her family are deeply involved in the community, contributing to its growth and vibrancy.
Mullewa Community Resource Centre (MCRC) has been operating in Mullewa since 2002 and has grown over the last 18 years to become a community hub for accessing resources and information. We are an independent, not-for-profit organisation that works hard to improve community access to government services and to support community and economic development activities in the Mullewa District. The MCRC provides access to a range of office/secretarial services, up-to-date technologies and professional facilities at affordable rates. MCRC also acts as an agency for government services, such as Trans WA, helping to make these services easily accessible to the community. In addition, the MCRC has a strong focus on building community capacity through education and training and the provision of opportunities to build and maintain social networks.
The Mullewa Community Resource Centre provides a venue for the Mullewa Visitor Centre. In 2010, the Telecentre was relocated to its current location and the Mullewa Tourist Information Centre was approached and asked to join what would become the Mullewa CRC. The Tourist Information Centre invested considerable money and time into the new premises. Assisting this volunteer group with coordinating rosters, ordering souvenirs and information brochures, training new volunteers and coordinating the annual Mullewa Wildflower Show has become a significant function of the MCRC, especially during the peak tourist season of July to October. While not a core function of CRCs, this service is considered extremely valuable by most in the Mullewa community.
MCRC operates five days per week. The centre is funded by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and receives in-kind support from the City of Greater Geraldton. Costs are also met by user pay services, membership fees, income generated by our souvenir and local produce shop front and one-off grants from a range of funding bodies for specific projects. We are members of Linkwest and we are incorporated under the Associations Act 2015 (WA).
