Join Mullewa Community Resource Centre and Mullewa Staying in Place this June as we come together to raise awareness of elder abuse, promote wellbeing, and strengthen community connections for local seniors.
Throughout the month, seniors are invited to participate in free Chair Yoga sessions designed to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and overall wellbeing. Each session will be followed by opportunities to connect with others over morning tea and learn more about personal safety, protecting sensitive information, and accessing local support services.
Activities include:
• Chair Yoga and Morning Tea – Monday 8 June, 10.00am–12.00pm
• Chair Yoga, Morning Tea and Discussion – Monday 15 June, 10.00am–12.00pm
• Chair Yoga, Morning Tea and Information Session – Monday 22 June, 10.00am–12.00pm
• Chair Yoga, Community Information Session and Lunch – Monday 29 June, 10.00am–1.00pm
Throughout June, seniors will also have access to a secure shredding service to safely dispose of sensitive documents and will receive practical resources promoting privacy, safety, and elder abuse awareness.
Everyone is welcome. No yoga experience is required.
